Founder, CEO, men’s health advocate, TEDx speaker, British Citizen Award recipient… But let’s be honest: you probably know him as “that bloke legging it around the UK dressed as a giant ballbag.”
And yes, he’s doing it again. And yes, it’s for a very good reason. And yes, it’s still absolutely hilarious (and incredibly motivational if I may say so!)
🍒 The Origin Story: One Brother, One Loss, One Very Large Costume
Toby lost his brother Rob to testicular cancer at just 24. Twenty-four. The age when your biggest worry should be whether your Deliveroo driver can find your door.
Instead, Toby’s family faced the unthinkable.
So Toby did what any emotionally devastated, slightly chaotic, deeply determined man would do:
He became a giant ballbag.
Not metaphorically. Literally. Fabric. Stitching. Two cherries swinging in the wind.
He’s run over 500km in this outfit — which is honestly Olympic-level commitment to both grief and comedy.
🏃♂️ The London Marathon 2026: Powered by Purpose (and Aerodynamic Fruit)
Toby isn’t racing the clock. He’s racing cancer.
And he’s doing it dressed as the world’s most motivational scrotum.
Why? Because humour breaks stigma. Stigma stops men checking themselves. And not checking leads to late diagnoses.
Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men — but 95% curable if caught early.
Ninety-five per cent. That’s higher than your chance of finding a parking spot in Birmingham.
💸 The Big Goal: £240,000 (AKA £100 Per Person, AKA Cheaper Than Your Last Night Out)
Toby’s aiming to raise £240,000 so no young man faces testicular cancer alone.
This money fuels:
- Awareness campaigns
- Early detection education
- Support for men during treatment
- The Robin Cancer Trust — founded in Rob’s memory
